Reverse Transcriptases
Reverse transcription is used for RNA expression analysis. Selecting the right reverse transcriptase for cDNA synthesis is critical to detecting low-abundance RNAs, dealing with RNA that contains high amounts of secondary structure or dealing with crude samples, particularly in RT-PCR and RT-qPCR applications for the detection of very low-copy targets. Lyophilization ready options allow incorporation into lyophilized RT-qPCR assays for room temperature shipping and storage, extending shelf-life and increased flexibility in sample volume.
